Offshore staff
LEIDSCHENDAM, the Netherlands – Fugro says it will perform geo-data acquisition and geo-consultancy services offshore Qatar for QatarEnergy.
Survey specialists operating from the Fugro Proteus, Pacific Grouse, and Bourbon Enterprise vessels will conduct geotechnical and geophysical assessments to support the redevelopment of the offshore Bul Hanine and Maydan Mahzam fields.
They will work alongside geo-consultancy teams undertaking foundation assessments and advising on pipe-soil interaction.
Fugro says that it is also deploying digital data flow and processing and GIS dashboards for the projects, and providing support from its remote operations center in Doha. The team there will provide QatarEnergy with real-time geo-data from all ongoing surveys to support decision-making.
