Offshore staff
FORNEBU, Norway – Chevron Australia has contracted Aker Solutions to supply the dynamic subsea umbilicals for the Jansz-Io gas compression project offshore Western Australia.
The full scope covers engineering, design, and manufacturing of around 70 km (43.5 mi) of umbilicals, including three for the subsea compressor and two for the subsea pumping system.
They will provide power from the platform to the compressor and pump modules.
