PERTH, Australia – Santos has contracted Atteris for subsea front-end engineering and design (FEED) for the Dorado field development offshore Western Australia.
The engineering design work will include flow assurance definition and design of the subsea system connecting the wellhead platform to the FPSO including the flexible flowlines, dynamic risers, and a mid-water arch structure.
Located about 150 km (93 mi) north of Port Hedland, the Dorado oil and gas field is in the Bedout sub-basin, in a water depth of approximately 95 m (312 ft).
Atteris completed the pre-FEED last year.
