LUXEMBOURG Subsea 7 has received a contract in the Middle East.

The scope of work includes engineering, procurement, construction, and installation of various subsea pipelines totaling about 40 km (25 mi), with associated crossing structures and two composite power and fiber optic cables.

Engineering and procurement will start immediately at the company’s office in Singapore. Operations will be led by its office in the Middle East. Offshore activities are scheduled to begin in 2023.

No further details are disclosed at this time due to contractual obligations, the company said.
