Offshore staff
FORNEBU, Norway – Petrobras has awarded Aker Solutions a framework agreement covering the supply of subsea lifecycle services for various oil and gas fields offshore Brazil.
The deal runs for three years, with a two-year extension option.
Services to be provided will include inspection, maintenance, repairs, upgrades, supply of spares, and installation/commissioning work.
Aker Solutions will manage the program from its service base in Rio das Ostras in Rio de Janeiro.
The company added that it remained committed to local partnerships in Brazil, and will target a minimum local content rate of 90%.
Over the past 25 years the company has installed nearly 240 subsea trees for Petrobras-operated fields off Brazil.
