Offshore staff
PAPENDRECHT, the Netherlands – Boskalis has acquired Rever Offshore’s subsea services business.
Rever (ex-Bibby Offshore) is a specialist in subsea construction, inspection, repair and maintenance, historically operating in the North Sea out of Aberdeen.
Boskalis will gain two diving support vessels: the Rever Polaris is fully owned, while the Rever Topaz is chartered.
Rever employs around 220 offshore staff and around 130 onshore, with revenue in 2020 close to EUR90 million ($110 million), mostly generated through framework agreements.
According to Boskalis, the deal will strengthen its position in the subsea services market in northwest Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, and the offshore wind sector.
