    Subsea 7 to lay Julimar pipelines offshore Australia

    LUXEMBOURG – Woodside Energy has contracted Subsea 7 to perform offshore activities for Phase 2 of the Julimar-Brunello project.

    The Julimar field is around 200 km (124 mi) offshore northwest Australia.

    Subsea 7 will design, procure, install, and commission a 22-km (13.7-mi), 18-in. corrosion resistant alloy gas transmission flowline and an umbilical system.

    Offshore operations are scheduled for 2021 using the company’s reel-lay and heavy construction vessels.
