GOTHENBURG, Sweden – Offshore accommodation support specialist Floatel has issued a status report on its rig fleet.
Vår Energi has chartered the Floatel Superior semisub to provide accommodation support to the Jotun FPSO in the Norwegian North Sea, starting in summer 2024.
INEOS has awarded a 90-day charter to Floatel Superior at the Unity riser platform, connected to the Forties complex in the UK central North Sea, starting next April 2024.
Floatel Triumph will provide accommodation and related services to an unnamed Australian major for an offshore natural gas project. The charter, which is for six months plus options, will begin early in 2025.
After completing a charter with Woodside, Floatel started a new 80-day charter for Shell Prelude offshore northwest Australia, with extension options.
In the UK central North Sea, Shell has awarded Floatel a four-month charter at the Shearwater Field taking effect from June 2024.
Floatel Victory’s charter for Equinor offshore Brazil ended on April 28, after which the rig underwent its special periodic survey en route to the US Gulf of Mexico, where it started a five-month charter for Chevron Anchor on July 7.
At the Balder Field in the North Sea, Floatel Superior’s charter for Vår Energi finishes on Sept. 12, with options to extend.
Floatel Endurance remains idle quayside in Skipavika, Norway, after finishing a program in April for Equinor.
