Opsealog has detailed results of its fuel efficiency Proof of Concept, performed on 15 offshore support vessels with Total E&P Angola over a six-month period.

TOULOUSE, France – Opsealog has detailed results of its fuel efficiency Proof of Concept (POC), performed on 15 offshore support vessels with Total E&P Angola over a six-month period.

Total had initially targeted an 8% savings in field, but the final reduction was 11.5% (equivalent to $836,000) for the 15 vessels over the period.

Opsealog’s data analytics platform comprises decision making tools for the performance management of the offshore oil and gas supply chain. The Marine Logistics solution includes apps on environmental impact/fuel efficiency/fleet use/ cost control and allocation.
