At 200 ft (61 m) length and 66 ft (20 m) width, the vessel has an operating draft of 10.5 ft (3.2 m) offshore and 9 ft (2.7 m) in the delta areas. Above deck storage capacities consist of 5,200 gal acid, almost 4,400 gal additives, and 350,000 lb proppant. Below deck capacities are almost 3,500 bbl of process and completion fluid and over 4,700 bbl of drill water. Maximum fracturing rate is 18 b/min with sand and 25 b/min with clean fluid.
TheStim Star Borneo meets or exceeds the requirement of SOLAS and other regulatory bodies, the company says. In addition, the vessel is outfitted to provide environmentally sustainable operations.

Strategic Marine delivers floating dry dock base pontoon
Strategic Marine has delivered the base pontoon of a floating dry dock to the Australian Marine Complex (AMC) at Henderson, south of Perth.
Strategic Marine’s Vietnamese facility at Dong Xuyen Industrial Zone completed construction of the 99 m (325 ft) long and 53 m (174 ft) wide steel structure. The dock’s 4,400-metric ton (4,850-ton) steel base was lifted aboard the Dockwise submersibleMV Teal for its 16-day journey to the AMC’s Common User (CUP) facility at Henderson. The vessel submerged to float off the structure before it was towed into the facility by three tugs.
Once the dock is handed over to the AMC next July, it will achieve a global “first” with a newly developed digital memory to give it a fully automated capability, Strategic Marine says.
