LLOG Exploration Offshore has agreed to extend its contract with Seadrill’s ultradeepwater West Neptune drillship in the US Gulf of Mexico by about six months.
HAMILTON, Bermuda— LLOG Exploration Offshore has agreed to extend its contract with Seadrill’s ultradeepwater West Neptune drillship in the US Gulf of Mexico by about six months.
The extensions will take effect after the existing term ends, with the rig remaining on duty through third-quarter 2024.
Seadrill estimates the value of the extension at about $79 million.
