STAVANGER, Norway — Prosafe has issued a year-end update on the status of its offshore accommodation support rig fleet.

Safe Zephyrus will start a 650-day firm program for Petrobras offshore Brazil next May, on a day rate of about $112,500. The rig contract with bp at ETAP in the UK North Sea was confirmed yesterday, and it has already started mobilization and preparation for the Petrobras contract.

Earlier this month Safe Caledonia completed a contract for TotalEnergies at the Elgin platform in the central UK North Sea that started in March, and it is currently laid up at Scapa Flow, Orkney, pending the award of future work.

Safe Boreas and Safe Scandinavia are also laid up in Norway.

Both Safe Eurus and Safe Notos will be off hire for 30 days in April and May 2023, respectively, undergoing hull cleaning and modifications related to contracts for Petrobras.

Safe Concordia is laid up in Curaçao ahead of an upcoming 330-day project in the US Gulf of Mexico, due to start between July and October 2023.
