    Neptune extends Odfjell semisub contract for work offshore Norway

    Neptune Energy has extended the contract for CIMC Offshore’s Deepsea Yantai semisubmersible with two further wells offshore Norway.

    BERGEN, Norway — Neptune Energy has extended the contract for CIMC Offshore’s Deepsea Yantai semisubmersible with two further wells offshore Norway.

    Odfjell Drilling manages the rig on CIMC Offshore’s behalf.

    The added scope of the work is estimated to last 60 days and will start in direct continuation of the two wells previously commissioned by Neptune.

    With this extension, the rig now has commitments through early second-quarter 2024.
