    Maersk Interceptor extends North Sea service contract

    LYNGBY, Denmark — TotalEnergies EP Denmark has taken up an option to add two months to the accommodation services work scope for the Maersk Interceptor jackup rig in the Danish North Sea.

    According to Maersk Drilling, the extension will start in November, with two further options remaining on the contract

    Interceptor is an ultra-harsh environment CJ70 XLE jackup, designed for year-round operations in the North Sea, and delivered in 2013.
