BOMLO, Norway  Eidesvik Offshore has signed a ship management agreement with DEME for the Viking Neptun construction support vessel.

The agreement has been awarded for two years, under which Eidesvik will provide full technical management, crewing and operation of the vessel.

Viking Neptun was built for Eidesvik in 2015. As announced in January, Eidesvik entered into a memorandum of agreement (MoA) with DEME for the sale of the vessel. The MoA is expected to complete in fourth-quarter 2022, post completion of the ongoing contract with Havfram.

The agreement will commence when Viking Neptun is delivered to DEME.
