Three Solstad construction support vessels win contracts

SKUDENESHAVN, Norway Solstad Offshore has secured multiple medium-term contracts.

TechnipFMC has extended the frame agreement with Solstad for ploughing/trenching duties in the North Sea. As part of the one-year extension the companies have agreed to use the anchor handing tug supply vessel (AHTS) Normand Ranger for a minimum of 80 days plus options on various projects in 2020. It is expected to start in April.

Repsol Sinopec Resources UK Ltd. has contracted the CSV Normand Jarl to support its maintenance activities in the North Sea. The contract is expected to start in May 2020 and has a firm duration of 105 days.

The CSVs Normand Baltic and Normand Australis have received contracts for work offshore New Zealand and offshore Papua New Guinea. Both contracts are expected to start in January 2020, and each will have a firm duration of 60 days plus options.

In addition, an unnamed major oil company in Brazil has awarded one of Solstad’s large AHTS vessels a six-month contract. It is expected to start this month.
