Offshore staff
PARIS – GTT (Gaztransport & Technigaz) has signed a technical assistance and license agreement with Chinese shipyard Wison Offshore & Marine.
This concerns supply of GTT membrane solutions for FLNG and FSRU vessels, floating storage regasification power units and LNG carriers.
Wison constructed the world’s first barge-based FLNG and FSRU on a turnkey basis, GTT said, and obtained its GTT license after completing a qualification process that began earlier this year.
Under the agreement the two companies plan to expand their offer to ship-owners, to target new markets, with a special focus on floating solutions employing LNG.
