MONACOSBM Offshore has issued updates on its current FPSO construction programs.

The company has anchored the FPSO Liza Destiny to its mooring system at the Liza Phase 1 location offshore Guyana using the part-owned installation vessel Normand Installer.

Risers connection, commissioning, and start-up are in line with the development schedule.

Fabrication is nearing completion of the turret mooring system for Equinor’s Johan Castberg FPSO, which will operate in the Barents Sea.

The system is expected to be delivered early next year to the integration site in Singapore.

Topsides fabrication has started in Singapore for the FPSO Liza Unity, with the Fast4Ward hull due to arrive in Singapore in 1Q 2020.

Work on the FPSO Sepetiba (ex-Mero 2) for the Mero field in the presalt Santos basin is under way and on track. Discussions are progressing with equity partners for the sale of 35% of the project.
