Ocean Winds announced that Moray East achieved its full contracted output of 900 MW to the UK National Transmission Grid in early April 2022.

TOKYO, Japan —INPEX has acquired a 16.7% interest in the Moray East wind farm, 22 km from Scotland’s Moray East coast in the UK central North Sea.
It follows a transaction between Mitsubishi subsidiary Diamond Generating Europe (DGE) and INPEX Renewable Energy Europe.
The 950-MW Moray East offshore wind farm started operations in April 2022.
Last year, INPEX Renewable acquired a 50% stake in the Luchterduinen offshore wind farm and a 15% stake in the Borssele III/IV offshore wind farm, both from DGE-NL.
