Britain’s North Sea Transition Authority has sent Hartshead Resources letters of offer and documentation covering six new oil and gas licenses in the southern North Sea, covering 10 offshore blocks.

Britain’s North Sea Transition Authority has sent Hartshead Resources letters of offer and documentation covering six new oil and gas licenses in the southern North Sea, covering 10 offshore blocks.

Three of the licenses, P2669, P2670, P2678, have been fully executed and formally awarded. They contain the Katy, Cameron, Boulton-H, Winchelse North, Garnet and Ensign gas discoveries and offer various redevelopment, development and appraisal opportunities, Hartshead said.

They will add 627 Bcf of 2C and 560 Bcf of 2U resources net to Hartshead. Once awards are confirmed for the remaining three licenses, the total added 2C and 2U resource will be 1,187 Bcf net.
