Offshore staff
ESBJERG, Germany — TotalEnergies, on behalf of the Danish Underground Consortium, has contracted Semco Maritime to support the Halfdan CA (HCA) gas-lift project in the Danish North Sea.
This will provide lift gas for nine gas wells on the unmanned production platform Halfdan CA, extending the lifespan of the Halfdan Field.
Semco Maritime will perform topside modifications on the platform, hookup of the gas-lift module and upgrading of the design pressure of the liquid export pipeline. In addition, it will support topside modifications on Halfdan BB along with pipeline cleaning and testing.
From now until spring 2024, the project enters a phase of planning, groundwork and pre-fabrication in collaboration with suppliers. Offshore installation activities will start in second-quarter 2024.
Semco Maritime will deploy a team with more than 30 offshore staff per rotation, accommodated on a dedicated jackup vessel stationed at HCA.
The company also assists TotalEnergies with the ongoing redevelopment of the Tyra gas field.
