Fulkrum finishes North Sea Penguins equipment monitoring for Shell

Fulkrum has completed a surveillance program for Shell’s Penguins field redevelopment in the UK northern North Sea, according to a March 14 Fulkrum news release.

Work on the five-year campaign finished recently following startup of operations at the Penguins FPSO.

Fulkrum oversaw the quality and compliance of equipment manufactured at various locations.

The FPSO is designed to produce up to 45,000 boe/d, with operational emissions said to be 30% lower compared with the previous tieback of the field to the Brent Charlie platform.
