Semco staffing up to support long-term North Sea contract

TotalEnergies has awarded Semco Maritime a five-year contract to provide construction services to offshore installations in the Danish North Sea, plus manpower on an ad hoc basis.

When the works are completed, Tyra II will be a facility equipped with new technologies and methodologies. The Tyra Field is located 225 km off the west coast of Denmark.

Offshore staff

ESBJERG, Denmark — TotalEnergies has awarded Semco Maritime a five-year contract to provide construction services to offshore installations in the Danish North Sea, plus manpower on an ad hoc basis.

This includes the current redevelopment of the Tyra gas complex.

Semco Maritime expects to take on more offshore and onshore staff to perform the work, which will involve more than 1 million manhours.
