PERTH, Australia—Hartshead Resources has appointed LAB Energy Advisors to assist its search for co-venturers for the Phase 1 development of the Anning and Somerville gas fields in the southern U.K. North Sea.
LAB Energy team, which has experience in asset divestments in the U.K. and Dutch sectors of the basin, will launch the formal process to attract partners, with the final investment decision (FID) on Phase 1 likely to take place early next year.
Those companies that have shown interest in the project will be able to enter a structured divestment process as work progresses through the FEED stage and prior to FID.
Hartshead proposes six production wells from two wireline capable normally unmanned installation platforms at Anning and Somerville. These platforms would be connected via a subsea pipeline to third-party infrastructure for onward transportation into the U.K. gas network.
