SOLA, Norway – IKM Testing will perform testing services for the new facilities related to the Tyra redevelopment project in the Danish North Sea, operated by TotalEnergies E&P Danmark on behalf of the Danish Underground Consortium.

The scope includes topside nitrogen helium leak testing and commissioning during hookup of the seven new Tyra II platforms, and dewatering and preservation of subsea pipelines between the platforms.

In 2019-2020 IKM Testing Norway completed a program of cleaning and preparation prior to removal of Tyra’s existing platforms and associated subsea pipelines at the field.

Last year IKM Testing Asia performed engineering, nitrogen helium leak testing, flange management and commissioning services on the new wellhead and riser platforms during construction at the Sembcorp Marine yard in Singapore.

The same division is presently undertaking engineering, nitrogen helium leak testing and commissioning on the processing module at McDermott’s yard in Batam, Indonesia.
