DHAHRAN, Saudi Arabia  Aramco and Cognite have launched the CNTXT joint venture (JV) to support industrial digitalization both in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

The JV, based in Riyadh, will provide services enabled by cloud solutions and industrial software to help public and private sector companies secure their data infrastructure, cut costs and enhance their operational sustainability.

CNTXT is Google Cloud’s reseller for cloud solutions in-Kingdom and the exclusive reseller of Cognite Data Fusion in the MENA region. Abdulla Jarwan is the CEO.

Later this year, Aramco expects Google Cloud to launch a local center to provide training to developers and business leaders on how to use cloud technologies.

Aramco’s partnership with Cognite (majority owner Aker ASA) started in 2019 with a memorandum of understanding to develop synergies and share knowledge on industrial digitalization and other initiatives.
