Australia’s Minister for Climate Change and Energy has issued an invitation to apply for feasibility licenses for offshore renewable energy projects in the Gippsland declared area offshore Australia.

PERTH, Australia — Australia’s Minister for Climate Change and Energy has issued an invitation to apply for feasibility licenses for offshore renewable energy projects in the Gippsland declared area offshore southeast Australia.
License applications will be accepted up to April 27, 2023.
The registrar will then assess proposals against criteria defined in Australia’s Offshore Electricity Infrastructure Act 2021 and associated regulations and make recommendations to the minister.
