LONDON – Drilling should start this month on the first of four new development wells on the TGT field in block 16-1 offshore southern Vietnam.
According to operator Pharos Energy, the final two wells in the planed six-well sequence will likely be included in the budget for 2022.
On completion of the campaign production from the field should increase by 5-6,000 b/d to ~19-20,000 b/d.
Pharos is currently assessing the results of interventions at the CNV field in offshore block 9-2.
The program comprised acidizing of plugged perforations in two existing producer wells.
Finally, Pharos has commissioned a 3D seismic survey this summer over certain high graded leads in the western part of block 125 off eastern Vietnam, and expects to receive processed results in 2022.
