DELFT, the Netherlands – Offshore access provider Ampelmann has won contracts for eight projects in various countries in the Asia/Pacific (APAC) region.
Among these will be the first application in the region of the Ampelmann E1000 system, providing offshore access for personnel and cargo for the construction of a wind farm offshore Taiwan.Â
Four more of the projects are in the offshore wind market and will involve use of an A-type gangway system.
The A-type system will also support a decommissioning project in India and provide offshore access during an FPU modification project offshore Indonesia. Â
In Brunei, the company will support crew change operations with its eighth system operating in the country. Â
