AMSTERDAM, the Netherlands -- Oranje-Nassau Energie (ONE) has agreed to acquire NAM’s 41.7% operating interest in the Q16a license in the Dutch North Sea, including the producing Q16-FA gas field.

The acquisition will lift ONE’s reserves by 2.5 MMboe and its production by 1,500 boe/d.

ONE CEO Alexander Berger said: "This operated asset is an excellent add-on to the recent acquisition of Dutch operator Cirrus Energy and its team by ONE. Furthermore it underlines our ambition to grow our operated portfolio. ONE has a target of increasing its developed reserve base from the current level of 30 MMboe to at least 80 MMboe within five years, and this acquisition is a 10% boost of our reserves base.”
