Offshore staff
DOHA, Qatar -- Total's Dolphin Gas Project now is producing from Qatar for export to the United Arab Emirates.
The Dolphin Energy Ltd. partners are: Total, 24.5%; Mubadala Development Co., on behalf of the Government of Abu Dhabi, 51%; and Occidental Petroleum, 24.5%.
The project involves the development of natural gas reserves from Qatar's offshore North Field via two unmanned production platforms. The gas is treated onshore. Production is expected to ramp up to 2 bcf/d in early 2008.
