STAVANGER, Norway -- Following completion of upgrades, the FPSO Voyageur Spirit should sail this weekend from the Nymo shipyard in Norway to the Huntington field in the UK central North Sea.
According to partner Noreco, Huntington should come onstream before year-end.
In the Norwegian North Sea, theDONG-operated Oselvar started production in April, but has performed below expectations.
DONG continues to compile data to analyze the causes and identify possible corrective measures. Production is currently suspended due to a shutdown of the host Ula platform following a leak earlier this month, but service should be restored within a week.
Noreco continues to pursue an insurance claim related todamage to the Siri platform below the waterline that was discovered in 2009.
