Lamprell has signed a multi-year wellhead tower framework agreement with ADNOC Group, supporting the latter’s offshore infrastructure and production growth initiatives.
In its latest quarterly report, Lamprell also provided updates on current oil and gas and offshore wind construction programs at its yards in the UAE.
Two of five EPCI projects at the Hamriyah facility have recently been completed. One involved the fabrication of five jackets, while the other was for a solitary jacket which should shortly be installed offshore.
Of the EPCI projects remaining, one comprises two production decks and two jackets, the first of which has been delivered and installed at the offshore location.
Engineering and fabrication are advancing on the second jacket and the production decks, with load-out due to follow by mid-year.
All four jackets for the second ongoing program have been delivered, with three already in place offshore and the fourth due to be installed shortly. Completing this order is a production deck, which should sail away in the next few months.
First steel was cut last August on the third oil and gas project, involving two production decks and one jacket. Lamprell is aiming for mechanical completion in early 2026.
As for offshore wind fabrication, the company has started early work on RWE’s Norfolk Vanguard development in the UK southern North Sea, the work scope comprising serial fabrication of 184 transition pieces followed by transportation to a marshalling yard in the UK.
Engineering and procurement are advancing ahead of the anticipated formal notice to proceed in early April. Work continues to select the heavy deck vessels that will transport the transition pieces.
Fabrication should get under way towards the end of this year with the first batch consignment targeted for delivery during the second half of 2026.
