CNOOC delivers first oil from Kenli in southern Bohai

CNOOC has started production from the Kenli 10-1 oil field in the southern Bohai region offshore China.

HONG KONG – CNOOC has started production from the Kenli 10-1 oil field in the southern Bohai region offshore China.
Water depth is around 17 m (56 ft).
Main production facilities are a central processing platform, two wellhead platforms, and 70 producing wells. Currently 12 wells are producing around 10,750 b/d of crude.
Production is expected to build to a peak of roughly 36,000 b/d during 2016.
CNOOC operates the development with a 100% interest.
