OSLO, Norway – Fourth quarter production from the Dan field hub in the Danish North Sea last year averaged 6,900 boe/d, according to partner Noreco.
Operating efficiency for the quarter was 8% lower at 71%, mainly due to a compressor wash extension in October (postponed from earlier in 2020 because of COVID-19), and manifold repairs in November.
In December, Dan was shut down following a short-circuit. The safe re-start of power generation involved initially sourcing spare parts. Further disruption followed when the NOGAT gas export pipeline in Dutch waters had to be shut down from mid-December until Jan. 4, 2021 due to an integrity issue on the F3FB offshore facility.
