The Lorelay vessel was designed for the execution of small and medium diameter pipeline projects of any length in unlimited water depths, the company said.
DELFT, the Netherlands — Allseas’ Lorelay will sail to the Caribbean Sea during the fall to install a pipeline off the east coast of Trinidad in 60 m to 70 m water depth.
Installation of the 22-km, 16-inch diameter line is planned for November, and it involves fast-track planning and execution scopes.
It will connect a new platform with an existing installation. The scope includes mattress installation and pre/post-lay survey.
