TEHRAN– Iran could export gas to India via a new long-distance seabed pipeline, according to the Iranian Petroleum Ministry.
Engineer Asghar Sohilipour told Iranian news service Shana: “We think [this] is the best route to export gas to India…”
He added that survey work for this pipeline is under way in New Delhi, and that the countries were negotiating over Indian participation in development of Iranian gas fields and new LNG projects.
