HAMBURG, Germany — ABL has completed its marine warranty survey scope in connection for the newly installed Ostsee Anbindungsleitung (OAL) subsea pipeline in the German sector of the Baltic Sea, laid by Saipem’s Castoro 10 vessel.
GASCADE Gastransport contracted ABL to oversee transportation and installation of the 50-km-long, 48-inch pipeline, which connects a planned LNG terminal in the port of Mukran with the German pipeline network in Lubmin.
At some point, the pipeline will also supply green hydrogen to the German grid via the Mukran entry point.
ABL’s team based in Hamburg coordinated project management supported by its consultants in Germany, the Netherlands, Norway and France.
