HOUSTON – Noble Energy’s Alen Gas Monetization project offshore Equatorial Guinea is making progress toward an early 2021 start-up, the company said in its latest trading statement.
During July, preparations continued on the shore crossing site for connecting the Alen field’s natural gas pipeline to the onshore facilities. Offshore pipeline installation remains on schedule for the current quarter.
Offshore Israel, 2Q 2020 uptime at the Leviathan field facilities averaged more than 99%. Noble finalized commissioning of additional compression at the onshore Ashkelon metering station in Israel during July, boosting capacity throughput for higher sales volumes from its offshore Israel gas fields into Egypt via the EMG pipeline.
