KØPERVIK, Norway – Norwegian offshore gas trunklines operator Gassco transported 106.99 bcm from Norway to Europe and the UK last year, down from 114.2 bcm in 2018.
This coincided with an upsurge in European imports of LNG, Gassco pointed out. At the same time planned maintenance on facilities offshore Norway was higher than the previous year.
Availability for delivery of gas to the transport system in 2019 was more than 99%.
Deliveries of natural gas liquids and condensate from the process plants at Kårstø, Kollsnes (via Vestprosess) and Nyhamna on Norway’s west coast totaled 10.1 metric million tons (11.1 million tons) last year.
