Sept. 10--Magnum Hunter Resources Inc. has participated in seven new oil and gas discoveries on the Outer Continental Shelf of the Gulf of Mexico. The company estimates that initial production rates from these discoveries should be 30 MMcf/d net when produced. Its current production from the GoM is 53 MMcf/d with total company-wide production at 210 MMcf/d, after the onshore property divestitures recently announced are complete.
