Fugro/EMGS to survey offshore Australia for Woodside

Woodside has awarded Fugro a controlled-source electromagnetic survey contract on Australia’s North West Shelf in 4Q 2010.

TRONDHEIM, Norway – Woodside has awarded Fugro a controlled-source electromagnetic survey contract on Australia’s North West Shelf in 4Q 2010. Fugro has subcontracted the acquisition portion to Electromagnetic Geoservices ASA. EMGS plans to use the BOA Galatea vessel for the survey.
This $2-million contract will be the first executed under the Fugro/EMGS alliance which was organized in 2009. The agreement give Fugro full access to EMGS’ marine electromagnetic services.
