Fugro investigating near-shore conditions for Mozambique gas pipeline

LEIDSCHENDAM, the Netherlands – Fugro is working on a large geotechnical site characterization project for Eni offshore northern Mozambique, the company revealed in its latest results statement.

This concerns the shore approach of the pipelines that will transport gas from thedeepwater Mamba field.

Fugro’sSeabed Geosolutions division has recently been operating three crews for offshore projects.

The shallow-water cable crew has been working for ADNOC offshore the United Arab Emirates since December. The Manta node crew started work last November on the BĂşzios survey for Petrobras off Brazil, and the Case Abyss crew is engaged in the Gulf of Mexico.

During 2Q 2019, Fugro expects to start the S-79 3D ocean bottom node survey in the Red Sea.
