HAMILTON, Bermuda – AziPac subsidiary Azimuth Vietnam has agreed to farm into a production-sharing contract for block 127 offshore southeast Vietnam.
The company will take a 25% interest, in return paying its share of approved past costs and carrying operator Mitra Energy’s costs of acquiring and processing a3D seismic survey, which is due to be completed later this year.
This will complete obligations under the current exploration phase which expires in May 2016.
Block 127 is in the relatively underexploredPhu Khanh basin.
