    LEIDSCHENDAM, the Netherlands — Fugro will start work this month on site characterization services for a long-term field development offshore the UAE.

    The company will perform geophysical, geotechnical and ROV inspections and engineering/geo-consulting studies to support the FEED process. The full scope comprises assessment of about 600 km of pipelines with 800 crossings, 49 jacket surveys and offshore island surveys.

    Fugro will use its digital platform service to provide remote data management, helping the client to reduce uncertainties related to ground conditions and achieve capex savings.
