NSNR contracts Shearwater Geo for North Sea 3D survey

North Sea Natural Resources (NSNR) has commissioned Shearwater GeoServices to acquire a 1,586-sq-km 3D seismic survey over the Devil’s Hole Horst prospect in the UK North Sea.

BERGEN, Norway— North Sea Natural Resources (NSNR) has commissioned Shearwater GeoServices to acquire a 1,586-sq-km 3D seismic survey over the Devil’s Hole Horst prospect in the UK North Sea.
The SW Bly vessel will conduct the one-month towed streamer survey, with work due to start shortly.
NSNR CEO Niels Christian Arveschoug said this would be his company’s first proprietary 3D seismic survey over all seven blocks of UK license P2321, supporting definition of future drilling locations.
