    Polar Empress staying in Black Sea for Shell seismic survey

    Shell has contracted Shearwater GeoServices to acquire a 600-sq km (231-sq mi) seismic survey in the western Black Sea.

    BERGEN, Norway – Shell has contracted Shearwater GeoServices to acquire a 600-sq km (231-sq mi) 3D seismic survey in the western Black Sea.

    The company will deploy the Polar Empress for the one-month program: the vessel had been working in the Turkish sector earlier this year.
