TEHRAN, Iran – Iranian Offshore Engineering and Construction Co. (IOEC) has completed 110 km (68 mi) of subsea pipelay operations at the South Pars gas field Phase 22 development in the Persian Gulf.
The new line connects the Phase 22 facilities with onshore installations.
According to new service Shana,phases 22 and 24 both feature two 32-in. and 4-in. diameter pipelines. Petro Sina Arya Co. is the main contractor for the developments with IOEC responsible for pipelay, using the C-Master vessel.
These two phases and Phase 23 are expected to collectively produce 56.6 MMcm/d (2 bcf/d) of gas.
