SÃO PAULO, Brazil – GE (NYSE:GE) will supply four LM2500+G4 aeroderivative gas turbine packages to Mitsui Ocean Development & Engineering Co. Ltd. to use on an FPSO destined for offshore Brazil.
MODEC will own the FPSO which will be installed in 2,240 m (7,347 ft) of water in a presalt field.
The turbines will provide electricity for the entire vessel.
