ABERDEEN, UK, and ZWIJNDRECHT, the Netherlands – Wood Group and Heerema Fabrication Group (HFG) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU).
They plan to jointly offer wellhead platform developments to clients on theNorwegian continental shelf (NCS), from design to installation, hookup, and commissioning.
Wood Group will combine its engineering offering with HFG’s services in engineering and construction of large and complex offshore structures.
The duo sees demand on the NCS for wellhead platforms that offer cost-efficient solutions for field developments.
